We track the top 200 apps across every iOS App Store and Google Play category and chart type (Free, Paid, Top Grossing) daily. When you search for an app, we check our database for its current chart positions and show you exactly where it ranks, how its position has changed, and how long it has been on the charts.
Chart data is refreshed daily. We scrape the official Apple App Store RSS feeds and Google Play charts every morning to capture the latest rankings across all categories and 3 chart types (Free, Paid, Top Grossing).
If your app doesn't show chart rankings, it means it's not currently in the top 200 for any category or chart type. This is normal — only a small fraction of apps make it into the top charts. You can still see your app's ratings, reviews, and other metadata.
Yes! You can search for apps on both the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. Use the platform toggle above the search bar to switch between them. We track chart rankings for both stores.
The Free chart ranks apps by download volume (free apps only). The Paid chart ranks by download volume for paid apps. Top Grossing ranks by total revenue including in-app purchases, so a free app with popular subscriptions can top this chart.
